This P1 was imported into the US around 1980 then
it was put in storage. It changed hands in 1990 and then garaged till it
was purchased in June 2005. |

The car was painted and upholstered before it came
to the US. The interior is excellent but the carpet could be replaced.
The paint looks good from 10 ft but up close there are some nicks and
scrapes - not bad but they are there. The engine has hardened valve
seats and was bored .060. The wood frame seems to be pretty good, the
doors don't drop when you open them and they shut sound. The brakes need
to be gone thru and the car needs tires. There is no history of the
car before it came to US. It is a great entry level Allard and an
extremely rare car in the US. |
